A Strong Governance at the Service of a Global Player

GEODIS is committed to operating in an ethical and transparent manner. As a result, the Group uses several decision-making bodies to achieve strong governance. A Supervisory Board ensures proper management of the Group by the Executive Board, and a Management Board sets out the main policy directions for the Group and operates the business.

Management Board

The Group’s Management Board is comprised of 18 members: The Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board, the Corporate Secretary, six Executive Vice Presidents in charge of operational Lines of Business, four Regional clusters and five functional divisions. The Management Board sets the Group strategy and action plans.

 

 

Marie-Christine Lombard
Chief Executive Officer

Marie-Christine Lombard is Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of GEODIS. She is a graduate of ESSEC. She has held chief executive positions in the Transport and Logistics sector for over 22 years and has always worked in international environments.

After 11 years in the banking sector at Chemical Bank and Paribas in the USA and France, she joined Jet Services in 1993 as Finance Director. She was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 1997 and became Chairman of TNT Express France following TNT’s buyout of Jet Services. In 2004 she was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the entire Express division, then Chief Executive Officer in 2011 when TNT Express became an independent listed company.

She joined the GEODIS Group in October 2012 as Chief Executive Officer, and was named Chairman a year later. 

Marie-Christine Lombard also sits on the Vinci group Board.

 

 

Xavier Avrard
Chief Strategy Officer

Xavier Avrard holds a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Bordeaux, and he was awarded a postgraduate diploma in management control and audit by the IAE (Institut d’Administration des Entreprises) in Bordeaux. He held positions as financial controller and Chief Financial Officer with a number of major international groups. Xavier Avrard joined GEODIS in 2014 as Group Controller. After contributing to the acquisition of OHL in 2015, he was appointed Managing Director for Projects Logistics, initially for Africa and then for the WEMEA region. In 2019 he was named Senior Vice President of the Odyssey program, focusing on launching and managing the Group’s digital transformation program. In January 2023, Xavier took over the strategic development of the Europe region, particularly the integration of trans-o-flex, a company recently acquired by GEODIS. Since July 2023, he leads the new Group Strategy Department. This department will be responsible for corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions, post-merger integration and the monitoring of the Group’s strategic investments and developments.

 

Onno Boots
President & CEO of Asia-Pacific and Middle East

Onno Boots joined GEODIS in October 2016 as Asia-Pacific Area Director for Freight Forwarding. Prior to this, he was CEO of Celebi Aviation Holding. He began his career in Freight Forwarding at Air Express International and Cargolux Airlines International before joining the TNT Group, where he held various positions for more than 20 years, most notably as Director of the Asia region. He took over as CEO of the Asia-Pacific region for GEODIS in May 2018. In January 2023, the Group named him CEO Asia-Pacific and Middle East.

 

François Bottin
Executive Vice President, Digital and Technology

François Bottin has 25 years' experience in the management of digital, data and IT programs and in managing international teams in the transport and logistics sector.
His career path includes key program and team management positions with a leading player in maritime transport and logistics. François played a key part in this company’s digital transformation, covering applications, methodology, processes and HR. He joined GEODIS in 2020, taking responsibility for Group applications and the roll-out of digital and data transformation programs. He was appointed Executive Vice President, Digital and Technology of GEODIS in July 2023.
François Bottin graduated from the University of Paris X, where he gained a postgraduate diploma in Scientific Management Methods and a Masters in Modeling for Economics and Management.

 

​Stéphane Cassagne
President & CEO France and Maghreb

Stéphane Cassagne joined GEODIS in 1993. He became legal director for Calberson in 1998 and for the Group in 2003. Then, in 2007 he also took on the role of Real Estate, Insurance and Customs Director for the Group. In 2013, he was named Group Corporate Secretary. Following a period since October 2019 spent as Executive Vice President of Distribution & Express, he was appointed CEO France & Maghreb in January 2023.

 

Mario Ceccon
Executive Vice President Group Human Resources

Mario Ceccon started his career in 1994 at Valeo where he held different management responsibilities in recruitment, training and operational HR roles. He joined the headquarters of Suez in 2000 prior to being promoted to the position of Human Resources Director of Degremont International. He spent the next nine years with Air Liquide, first in France and since 2013 in Asia Pacific based in Shanghai. Mario joined GEODIS in July 2017 as Executive Vice President, Human Resources.

 

Virginie Delcroix
Executive Vice President Group Sustainable Development

Virginie Delcroix is a graduate of the Mines de Nancy engineering school. She started her career in 1988 as a development engineer at 3M before moving in 1990 to SNPE Ingénierie where she worked as a project manager. In 1995, she became a sales engineer at La Calhene, a company specialized in protective equipment for the nuclear and pharmaceutical industries. Virginie moved to Novacel in 1999, where she was successively responsible of industrial projects, technical director from 2006 and director of innovation and marketing from 2008. In 2011, she joined Bostik as head of R&D for the Southern Europe region and in 2017 she was promoted as Vice President Sustainability for Arkema group. In September 2022, she was appointed Executive Vice President, Sustainability at GEODIS.

 

Pascale Dubois
Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications & Branding

Pascale Dubois began her career in 1985 as a journalist and then worked as a press relations officer. In 1989, she was appointed deputy communications manager at Compagnie BTP. In 1994, she was named head of the Press Relations and Financial Analyst Relations department at Euro RSCG Finances (Havas group).
Pascale joined the Colas group in 1996 as internal communications manager, and was promoted to the position of Director of Communications in 2000.
She joined the Safran group In May 2008, as Director of Communications and Philanthropy, and was appointed to the Executive Committee in 2015.
Pascale came to GEODIS in April 2022 as Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications & Branding.
Pascale Dubois has a masters degree in history and has completed training at the EM Lyon business school intended for female Board members (Certificat Objectif Administratrice).

 

Eric Gerbi
Executive Vice President, Supply Chain Optimization

Holding an engineering diploma from the Nancy School of Mines and a specialized masters in International Finance from the HEC business school, Eric started out as a financial auditor at Deloitte in 2006. His career then took him to Saint Gobain in 2008 as a management auditor. He joined GEODIS in 2011 as financial controller for the Americas. In 2014, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the SCO Line of Business. In 2018, alongside his duties as CFO, he took on additional responsibilities as Deputy EVP of SCO. In these roles, Eric supervised human resources, IT, customer solutions and the management of key accounts. In October 2021, he is appointed EVP of GEODIS’ SCO business.

 

Albertine Hanin
Executive Vice President Group Legal & Insurance

After an initial experience as a business lawyer, Albertine joins a GEODIS subsidiary in 1998 as Deputy Legal Director. In 2002, she moves to the GEODIS Group’s Corporate Legal Department as Legal Manager. Her functions develop over the years and, in 2008, she takes in charge legal affairs for distribution and logistics activities in France, and then in the Western Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. In 2019, she has been appointed EVP Group Legal & Insurance at GEODIS.

 

Stephanie Hervé
Executive Vice President Global Contract Logistics

After obtaining a master’s degree in logistics and transportation, Stéphanie Hervé began her career in 1996 as a research officer for FM Logistics. In 1998 she joined GEODIS to handle the Group’s logistics research and in 1999 moved to the operational branches in France and abroad. In 2007 she became managing director of logistics in France, Spain and Morocco. During this period, and in parallel with her duties as managing director, she began working on acquisitions and organizational missions abroad. In 2018 she took over logistics operations in the Western Europe, Middle East and Africa region. In November 2022 she was appointed Executive Vice President Global Contract Logistics.

 

Mike Honious
President & CEO of Americas

Mike Honious previously served as Chief Operating Officer of GEODIS in Americas. Prior to joining GEODIS, he held several senior level operations positions at Gap, Inc. Honious earned his B.S. in industrial engineering technology from University of Dayton. Since October 2020, he is President & CEO of Americas.

 

Thomas Kraus
President & CEO EUROPE

Before joining GEODIS in 2015, Thomas Kraus served in several managing positions at TNT. He held various positions in Sales and Marketing before assuming responsibility for Group Marketing. In 2006 he assumed responsibility as CEO for TNT Innight, a multi-country organization specializing in overnight distribution with 1,200 employees across 7 countries. After the successful turnaround of that business, he was appointed CEO of TNT Express Germany in 2007, a position he held for the following 6 years. He joined GEODIS in 2015 as Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer prior to taking over responsibility for the Northern, Eastern and Central Europe region in 2018. He was appointed CEO Europe and South Africa in January 2023.

 

Eric Martin-Neuville
Executive Vice President, Global Freight Forwarding

Eric Martin-Neuville began his career at Calberson International in France in various business development roles. In 1995, he moved to Asia, where he held various management positions within the organization. In 2007, he was responsible for managing the merge between TNT Freight Management and GEODIS. He returned to Europe in 2009 and became Head of Freight Forwarding for Southern Europe before being appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Global Freight Forwarding Line of Business in 2013 and Executive Vice President in 2018. 

 

Laurent Melaine
Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer

Laurent Melaine began his career at Transports Graveleau before moving to Dachser, where he held a series of positions in sales development and site management.
He joined GEODIS in 2011 as key account director in the Distribution & Express Line of Business. He was appointed Sales Director in 2013, with a seat on the Management Committee. In 2018, he became Sales and International Director. In this role, he supervised key account management, the development of international business and chartering.
In July 2022, Laurent joined the Executive Committee and became Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer for the Group.
Laurent Melaine holds a Masters in economic science and a postgraduate degree in business and international strategy.

 

​Camille Porgès
EVP Governance, Risk and Compliance

Camille graduated from the ESCP business school and holds a postgraduate degree in business law from Paris II Panthéon Assas University. She was admitted to the Paris bar in 2004.
Camille Porgès began her career in 2004 as a lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions at Clifford Chance LLP. In 2010, she joined satellite operator Eutelsat as senior legal counsel, with responsibility for the company’s mergers and acquisitions. She was promoted to the position of group compliance and privacy director in 2017. In 2019, she joined the ATOS group as head of ethics and compliance and was appointed chief compliance officer in April 2022.
In April 2023, Camille Porgès joined the Executive Committee of GEODIS and became Executive Vice President Governance, Risks and Compliance.

 

Olivier Royer
Executive Vice President, European Road Network

Before joining GEODIS in 2011, Olivier Royer was Director of Transport Operations at STVA Group as well as a member of the Management Board. He has also worked in Keolis as business unit Managing Director. Olivier Royer is currently Executive Vice President of the European Road Network Line of Business of GEODIS since April 2013. 

 

David-Olivier Tarac
Chief Financial Officer

David-Olivier Tarac graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole des Mines de Paris (State Technical Corps). His career began at the Directorate of Naval Construction and then at the Treasury and State Shareholdings Agency, where he supervised the activities of the French Development Agency, Air France-KLM, the ADP Group, RFF and SNCF, representing the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance. In 2004, he joined the strategic consulting firm, the Boston Consulting group. In 2008, he was appointed Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the ADP Group. He became an executive vice president of TAV Airports, a majority-owned subsidiary of the ADP Group based in Istanbul, in 2012, and then in 2017 he moved to New York as managing director in charge of ADP Group’s North and Latin American activities. Having joined the GEODIS Group in July 2022 as Deputy CFO, he was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in January 2023.

 

Amaury Valicon
Chief Operations Officer – Performance Improvement

Amaury Valicon has held a broad range of posts of responsibility in finance for over 20 years, of which nearly 15 years in the transport industry. After 7 years in the banking sector at BNP Paribas and Bayerische Landesbank in structured finance and securitization, he joined the M&A team of SNCF Participations in 2004. He then moved to the finance department of SNCF Logistics in 2011 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer of SNCF Logistics in 2014. In January 2018, he was named Group Chief Financial Officer of GEODIS, and at the start of 2023 he became the Group’s Chief Operations Officer – Performance Improvement.
